Katie Close is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Chicago, IL.
A graduate of Pratt Institute with a BFA in Communications Design: Graphic Design and a Cinema Studies minor, Katie aims to expand her practice of visual storytelling through different mediums.
She has gone on to pursue her interest in UX/ UI through Google’s UX Design Certification program.
Her design background includes animation, branding, concept art, creative direction, editorial design, motion graphics, product design, and storyboarding.
Outside of design, she’s interested in screenwriting, sewing, reading, and running!
